'End-Caps' padding pole tops Dr. Shrink, Inc.  has developed the new and inexpensive ‘End-Caps’  to solve the old shrinkwrapping problem of wooden uprights either falling down or poking through shrinkwrap covers during off-season storage.   ‘End-Caps’ are designed to fit on both the top and bottom of 2”X4” (100 x 50mm} boards that are commonly used as support poles under shrinkwrap covers. As a pole top, the ‘End-Caps’ have slits every 90 degrees for the woven cord strapping to slide into.  When the cover is shrunk the four corner sections flex downward forming a protective pad on the top to eliminate pole poke through.  When used as a pole bottom, Dr. Shrink’s ‘End-Caps’ holds the pole upright to keep the base from slipping and pads the 2”X4” bottom to keep it from scratching gelcoat.
