Usability |
This
series of shelters is specifically designed for storage of sail- and
speedboats in all sizes. Well thought through details and functionality makes
these shelters to the ideal storage for boats, when on dry land. Leaves your
boat out of wind, rain and snow; these shelters also makes it perfect for
maintenance or readying it for next season. The advantage by storing in a
shelter is obvious; imagine the value difference between storing your boat in
house, or keeping it out in the weather during the winter months. |
Frame Construction
|
The frame
is constructed from 50mm steel tubing with a thickness of 3,5mm. Tubes are
galvanized for extra durability. The frame is easily assembled by bolting the
standing legs with the roof section together and then fitting the cross bars.
These shelters are very easy to assemble and can be put together only with
help of a good ladder or standing on the boat. Supplied with wind braces in
both end walls for added rigidity. The whole shelter is secured to the ground
using the 1,25m stake pegs supplied with the shelter. Concrete anchors are an
alternative if it is not possible to dig anything into the ground. These
shelters are designed by engineers, but not calculated for snow and wind load. |

Door |
The
shelter is supplied with a heavy duty 3 zipper door in the one end so you can
open up fully. The other end is totally closed off. Velcro overlaps over the
zippers for added protection. The way the shelter is designed it will bring a
natural circulation of air, to counter effect condensation within the
shelter. |

Tarpaulin
|
UV resistant 600 gr. pr. m2
Flame retardant PVC tarpaulin in the best quality. A 3 layer construction painted on both sides,
with an inlay of Rip Stop within the tarpaulin. This means that should the
tarpaulin tear the Rip Stop will stop the tear from spreading. The tarpaulin
is UV resistant which ensures a long life span and protects the stored items.
